HISTORY
In 1961 after Edi and Kusumawati Handojo graduated
from the Institute of Technology Bandung, they got placement in Semarang, Central Java. Edi joined military draft while Kusumawati worked in Kimia Farma. In 1966, after having completed their duties, with their skills and desire to get in improving people's welfare in health whereas at that time medicine supplies were really limited, they established Erela.
It was built in Jalan Erlangga, Semarang.
As the demand at medical supply grew, they built Erpha in 1976. Erpha as the sister company of Erela was established on Jl. Setiabudi No. 130, Semarang. Its motto which is the translation of the dream of why this company was established is "Health Era for All of Us". This motto is the spirit of our company's development to make Erpha as one of contributors in Indonesian pharmaceutical market to help the welfare of our society.
We continuous to develop our products to get reliable and qualified ones. We developed them by affiliation and internally. Now we have hundreds of products with varieties of functions and packaging. With the help of our distributors, our distribution channel covers all over Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.
Since the regulation of The Good Manufacturing Products (GMP) from Indonesia Health Departement were put into effect, Erpha quickly got the acknowledgement that its facilities meet The Standard. We didn't stop at GMP only, in February 4th, 2005 Erpha got ISO 9001 - 2000 certification.
We commit to develop ourselves continuously, not only in product, production process within and outside our company, but we commit to care and gain trust among ourselves and our society. We, Erpha team, are hoping to reach a "Healthy Era for Everyone." By delivering a commitment to development by self - improving continuously, not only from production side but also in care and trust among Erpha and Our Society, Erpha is hoping to reach a healty era for everyone.
